Virtual Photo Table is a software that usually runs on the Publications Specialists computer. Since it is an IODP internal app, it can be downloaded and launched through IODP Launcher. This guide presents the basic functions of the software:
1) Start IODP Launcher,
2) Download Virtual Photo Table,
3) Launch Virtual Photo Table,
4) Set the expedition and processing interval (in minutes) and enable "Start Automatically". This way the app runs continuously and detects when all section images (LSIMG) have been uploaded at what point it creates a composite image (CORECOMPOSITE) of all the sections including header.
